Rather than operating as a separate construction company, the team delivering Selva Serena also owns and operates boutique hotels in the region.. This structure ensures that design and construction decisions are informed by real operational use, climate conditions, and long-term asset performance.

Awa Beach Hotel is a fully designed, built, and operated hospitality property on Costa Rica’s South Caribbean coast.
The same owner-operator team responsible for Awa Beach Hotel is delivering Selva Serena, applying lessons learned from construction, operations, and guest experience in the same regional context.
Design Partner Phibra (San José, Costa Rica)
Phibra is a Costa Rica–based architecture and design studio with a strong track record in hospitality and residential projects across the country.
They served as the designers in charge of Awa Beach Hotel in Playa Negra, working directly with the same owner-operators who developed, built, and now operate the property. This established design–construction collaboration brings continuity between architectural intent and on-the-ground execution.
